Our secretary, Dana Bourne, has been in church office ministry for more that 40 years. She joined St. Luke’s staff in November of 2017. Dana has 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Sharing her country home in Findlay is her precious Shetland Sheepdog, Sassy. Dana serves leadership positions in several Presbyterian Women Groups and a local PEO Chapter. In whatever spare time she might have, she enjoys reading, gardening, being outside in nature, puzzles (both word and jigsaw), needlepoint and other crafts. Dana has a large collection of elephants. |

Synod Authorized Minister (SAM) Paul Brooks joined us in the fall of 2024. Paul and his wife, Kathy, live south of Findlay. They have 2 sons and a daughter who have blessed them with 8 grandchildren. In addition to leading worship for St. Luke’s in North Baltimore and St. John’s in McComb, he serves as the Central Conference Call Facilitator for the Northwest Ohio Synod. Paul grew up on a farm in Putnam County; attended the Northwest Technical College; and has a love for the outdoors, history, cooking, reading, and teaching. Paul describes himself as a recipe that has 75 ingredients, takes three days to make and is best after 3 more days of sitting. “As I look back, I clearly see how God has been preparing me all of my life to be where I am today.” |
Pastor Ken Pollitz was raised in the Chicago, Illinois, part of the country. His family grew up in the Lutheran Church (the Missouri Synod type of Lutheran). Ken and his wife, Linda Rae, have a daughter and 3 sons who have given them 11 grandchildren. Ken attended the University of Missouri, and transferred to Valparaiso University in Indiana where he receive a Business Accounting Degree. In 1979, he answered God’s call and attended Summer Creek at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He is currently serving as a part-time Interim Pastor at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, Ohio. Some of his hobbies include road-bike riding, contemporary Christian music, and historic art and artists. |
